Active Park Distance Control uses ultrasonic sensors in the front and rear bumpers to help you judge the distance to other vehicles and unseen objects when parking. Automatic braking will engage when stationary objects are detected as you back up slowly, or if there are obstacles in the immediate vicinity in front of or behind the vehicle.
