Remote Engine Start
Using the vehicle key from a distance of approximately 100 to 230 feet, or the My BMW App, remotely start the vehicle and activate heating and cooling features. You'll always be ready to go, regardless of outside temperature.
Interior Camera
With the overhead interior camera, you and your passengers can take snapshots or check on your interior remotely with the MyBMW app. The interior camera is also activated when the new Remote Theft Recorder is triggered. This system relays a message to the customer’s smartphone when the vehicle’s anti-theft alarm system is set off. The customer is then able to access and save the pictures from both the interior camera and the cameras at the front and rear of the vehicle and on its exterior mirrors.

Active Driving Assistant Pro
Innovative camera/radar-based driver assistance systems provide partly-automated support to deliver peace of mind. Distance Control adjusts the speed of the vehicle automatically, if necessary, to a standstill, to maintain a safe distance to the vehicle ahead. Features like Steering Assistant, Lane Change Assistant, Emergency Stop Assistant, and Evasion Assistant help the driver during critical driving situations, such as a health emergency or the sudden presence of vehicles or pedestrians in front of the car.

This advanced safety system monitors road lane markings using strategically placed cameras on the exterior of your vehicle. It vibrates the steering wheel when the vehicle begins to move across a lane marking without the turn signals activated.

Distance Control is a camera & radar-based system that maintains your desired speed and keeps your preselected distance from the vehicle ahead. It will automatically reduce your speed up to a standstill if the vehicle in front of you begins to slow down.
