Active Driving Assistant

Drive more confidently with the camera-based Active Driving Assistant. The BMW X6 includes Lane Departure Warning, which alerts you when you drift lanes with a visible signal and steering wheel vibration. Additionally, Pedestrian and Collision Warning detects hazards on a collision course with the vehicle, and depending on driving conditions, initiates the braking system to reduce vehicle speed and prevent critical situations before they occur.

Surround View

Displays video images of approaching traffic on the Control Display. Side-view cameras positioned in the front bumpers show traffic approaching the front of the vehicle from the sides, such as when exiting a garage. The Top-view camera provides video images of the road alongside the doors, taken by cameras positioned in the exterior mirrors. All these cameras come together to capture a 360° panorama and generate an incredible bird’s-eye view of the vehicle’s surrounding environment.

Full Color Head-Up Display

Full Color Head-Up Display projects key information onto the windshield to appear directly in the driver’s field of view to minimize distractions. Responsive to light conditions around them, the projections can be easily adjusted using the iDrive Controller.
